Follow NAU safety Max Zemezonak as he takes you through NAU’s road trip to Arizona State last weekend. As the video will show, the team keeps a very busy schedule when it hits the road. Players have walk-throughs and meetings, but the biggest challenge is keeping the team fed. There also are highlights from the game. The Jacks lost 41-20, but were down just seven points heading into the fourth quarter. NAU has a bye this week, but will hit the road again next week when it faces Idaho State in Pocatello. We also have more photos up in the ASU-NAU gallery. Check them out! Remember, if you would like any of the photos, please contact Matt Thompson.

Video: Road Trip to Portland, Ore.
NAU might be located in the dry Southwest, but we do recruit the rainy Pacific Northwest. There are a lot of good, tough football players up there. Coach Souers is from the great state of Oregon as well. The Lumberjack roster has a handful of players from the Portland area, so last week’s game against Portland State was a sort of homecoming for Brandon Vance, Zach Ka’ahanui, Ryne Holstrom, Ryan Rauschert, Alex Mott, and Isaac Bond. See all of them in action in this video. NAU defeated the PSU Vikings 44-23 on a rainy afternoon.
