The Lumberjacks wrapped up their final scrimmage on Saturday before the annual Blue-Gold game next Saturday, April 27th. The scrimmage consisted of both 11 on 11 live game situations, and some 7 on 7 passing drills. It was a productive day for both sides of the ball and everyone is eagerly looking forward to the Spring Game next week. Below are some of the best shots from today. Enjoy!

Spring practice number four for the Lumberjacks featured some live tackling and some physicality. Practice four was the first one of the spring that featured full-on tackling drills and fully live scrimmage time. Coach Tim Plough has been added as the new wide receivers coach at Northern Arizona University. Coach Plough recently served as the quarterbacks coach and co-offensive coordinator at UC Davis. Plough played and coached under current NAU offensive coordinator Rich Scangarello while at UC Davis. Plough played quarterback at UC Davis and quickly got into coaching as he worked his way up from a volunteer assistant, graduate assistant, then to a position coach when Scangarello left for the NFL’s Oakland Raiders.
